Overview
We know how hard our employees work, and we value their time and talents. This position earns a wage of $45,000- $50,000 salary based on experience, with monthly bonus opportunities. ABOUT LOCKE SUPPLY COMPANY
Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The history of the company dates to 1955, when Don and Wanda Locke opened a wholesale plumbing supply outlet in Bartlesville, OK. Locke Supply had a marketing vision of taking the merchandise to the customers' territory with exceptional customer service. It didn't take long for customers to develop a strong liking for the way Locke Supply did business, which led to the opening of a second branch in 1958. This concept has allowed Locke Supply to grow in areas never considered. Today, there are over 190 store locations in a 6-state area and a 100-acre distribution center to supply them all.
This role requires high-level skills in the areas below:
- Track record of increasing the number of followers on other business' social accounts
- Track record of increasing post engagement on other business's social accounts (more comments, likes, and shares)
- Being comfortable on camera as a spokesperson for our business
- Traveling to off-site locations to capture video & photo content to create posts with
- Copywriting & proofreading skills (strong spelling and grammar are a must)
- Strong customer service skills (you'll be replying to all messages and comments from our followers)
- Following & engaging with other relevant accounts that aren't following us in order to build relationships and grow our audience organically
- Foundational level of video editing, photo editing, & graphic design skills
- Natural ability to be a storyteller with your work
- Ability to create high-quality social reels that are between 30 to 90 seconds in length
- Continuous research is always on top of current social media trends & what each platform's algorithm is favoring
- Project management software experience (Asana, Trello, or similar)
- Being highly organized and having the ability to use / create an internal folder system with clear labeling that makes assets easy to locate for all team members
- Collaborating with our in-house marketing team on all projects
- Assisting our Director of Marketing with other company objectives as needed
