General Job Responsibilities: * Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management and postoperative pain management. * Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed. * Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions. * Maintain accurate and complete medical records. * Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education. License & Certifications: * Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Alaska. * National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Experience: * While specific requirements may vary, most locum CRNA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
