In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our clients' social media presence - overseeing community management, creative strategy, content creation, measurement, and optimization. As the internal social lead, you will collaborate with strategists, creatives, and content creators to build cohesive, best-in-class social communities for our clients.The ideal candidate is a true social media expert with a proven track record of leading successful brand channels. You are an excellent copywriter, with an innate ability to bring different brand voices to life across social channels, both proactively and reactively. Most importantly, you are a creative and strategic thinker, fast enough to work at the speed of social and versatile enough to work fluidly across disciplines, consumer segments, and product categories. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCommunity ManagementServe as the social persona of the brands you oversee, ensuring brand voice and visual identity are maintained consistently across social channels.Craft engaging captions, headlines, and posts that align with brand messaging and resonate with the target audience(s).Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers, addressing customer concerns and fostering positive interactions (reactive).Post all planned social content accurately and on time across channels.Identify, recommend, and traffic social content for paid media.Track conversations, trends, and mentions related to the brand to identify and act on potential issues and opportunities for engagement - ultimately helping to grow our clients' organic following (proactive).Stay updated on the latest social media trends and features to maximize reach and engagement on each platform.Manage the overall health and optimization of your assigned brand channel(s).Develop and enforce Social Media and Community Guidelines.Creative Strategy & Content PlanningDevelop and maintain monthly content calendars for the brands you oversee across channelsCollaborate with the creative team to develop and publish compelling content tailored to each platform to attract and retain audiences.Proactively pitch ideas internally and externally for net new and reactive, trend-based content.Help facilitate the production (as needed) of all social media content in collaboration with creatives and producers.Oversee relationships with creator partners and proactively identify new ones to work withRegularly source and secure relevant UGC for creative useStay up to date on the latest social media trends, features, and best practices to serve as a go-to resource for clients and internal teamsAnalytics, Reporting & Social ListeningDefine, measure, and track social KPIs, providing regular analysis, learnings, and optimization recommendations.Set up and maintain live social reporting & listening dashboards, enabling internal and external teams to access real-time data (via social media management tool)Develop and present monthly performance reports, showing performance against key benchmarks and surfacing actionable learnings.Actively track key competitors and report on brand performance vs category.Develop social listening guidelines and triggers.Identify and recommend optimization opportunities in real-time.Collaborate with agency leadership to reinforce the business case for social through data.ABOUT YOUYou have 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably at a creative agency.You have a proven track record of success in social media management - with the results to show for it.You have experience working in Social Media Management tools (e.g. Dash Hudson, Sprout, Sprinklr, etc...)You are capable and eager to oversee multiple brands at once.You are creative, clever and an excellent writer who is able to adapt to various brand voices.You bring incredible attention to detail.You are naturally passionate and curious about social media. You live in the apps every day.You bring a deep understanding of all the key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts.Your experience comes with deep knowledge of the social landscape, audience, culture, trends, influencers, and more.You have strong brand social acumen - aka you know what works and why - and you can educate others. You are experienced and skilled at collaborating with creative teams, bringing thought leadership, creativity, and strategic insights to guide the work.You stay current and interested in cultural trends, industry debates, and technological innovations.You can work proactively and independently outside the confines of a 'traditional' agency role.You can quickly establish a high level of trust with colleagues and clients; adeptly assessing project needs and adding value.Interest and ability to shoot lofi (but creative!) social content soloNote: Occasional domestic travel will be required.Reach Agency is an equal opportunity employer.
