Role Responsibilities
This role will drive the US Revenue Growth Management initiative with the sales teams, focusing on trade spend, promotion and price execution. The person in the role will have the opportunity to: Deliver outstanding business partnering to the Region Finance, Region Commercial, and US RGM teams to drive sustainable, profitable growth. Utilize newly developed Trade Spend and Promotion Effectiveness tools, develop deep understanding of methodology and data used in each tool. Develop promotion guardrails and annual promotion calendars that optimize promotional effectiveness. Partner with region RGM leads to drive implementation of trade spend and promotion insights through planned pricing changes or updates to trade spend accruals. Drive implementation of trade spend & promotion insights into action, embed into key planning and forecast cycles. Be the subject matter expert on the mechanics of trade spend, the impacts on the topline, retailer costing and supplier budgets, partnering with the commercial teams as a financial advisor. Drive quarterly trade spend disbursement process in collaboration with both field sales and region finance leadership. Manage the coupon/scan process within the GBU, ensuring adequate funding is accrued for and develop a process to measure efficiency of trade spend and work with commercial teams to influence change where necessary. Responsible for pricing variance analysis to strategy, budget, and Vistaar price structures, as well as recommending plans for resolution. Drive the commercialization process from strategy to consultation with the markets through to execution Provide training and education on the Vistaar system as well as pricing best practices to members of the sales teams Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. MBA a plus. Minimum 7 years of financial experience with focus on commercial finance and Revenue Growth Management. Experience with consumer products in one of the following preferred: Spirits, Beer, Wine, Beverage, and Foods categories. Prior experience in a manager level position a plus. Strong critical and strategic thinking Requires understanding of concepts and principles within Revenue Growth Management and comprehensive knowledge of CPG Commercial Finance (Bev-Al experience preferred) Influences others internally and externally Ability to conceptualize and think creatively. Develop and maintain cross functional and key working relationships within the organization. Excellent communication and personal skills desired. The salary range for this role, based in Chicago is $96,000-120,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset.
The range will vary if outside of this location.
