The position creates original print, graphic design, and audio/video content, manages social media posts, promotes and manages in-person events, and responds to followers and customer inquiries. The Digital Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for the company image and brand messaging and leverages the latest digital technologies to drive customer engagement, store visits, and sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in graphic design, and a deep understanding of social media marketing.Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Develop, implement, and manage Brown Jug's marketing strategies, to include but not limited to:
Digital / social mediaBroadcast (radio, television)Print (flyers, mailers, in-store signage)Direct to consumer (text message / email)Promotional apparel / drinkware / itemsEvent planning / promotional booth appearances
Produce platform-specific content (audio/image/video/graphic design/print) for digital and broadcast advertisingCollaborate with LSUN Category Management team to highlight key sales and promotionsManage and oversee social media content:
Define most important social media KPIsMeasure the success of every social media campaignStay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologiesUse social media marketing tools such as Buffer
Write copy, and draft design to ensure content is informative and appealingCollaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development platformsMonitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimizationManage all customer-facing digital communications, including but not limited to social media, e-mail, and phoneDevelop new and innovating ways to advertise new incentives and specialsOversee Brown Jug website UX (user experience) upload and maintain any new web content such as promotions and advertisingCollaborate with NA Category Manager to create, develop, and produce Brown Jug branded merchandise (apparel, drinkware, koozies, etc.)Brainstorm new and creative growth strategiesEvaluate emerging technologies for presentation to supervisor and executive managementSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Event planning, coordination, execution
Communicate and coordinate with special guests, manufacturers, distributors, venues, caterers, attendees for branded dinner and bottle release eventsEvent photography / videography, interviews, editingIdentify appropriate conventions, festivals, fairs, and other mass gathering events to send our branded promotional booth
Required Qualifications:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, AuditionVideo/audio production and editingGraphic Design and implementationProficiency in MSOffice: Word, Excel, PowerPointSocial Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressionsExcellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media best practicesUnderstanding of SEO and web traffic metricsExperience with doing audience and buyer persona researchExcellent understanding of social media KPIsFamiliarity with web design and publishingExcellent multitasking skillsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsAdhere to rules and regulationsHigh School Education or Equivalent5 years of experience as a Social Media manager or similar role
