Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 Location: In Office SUMMARY Provide assistance to the Manson Corporate Marketing Department in promotional efforts. Main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations. This position provides the opportunity for a marketing intern to work in the office to gain knowledge vital to marketing and communications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following, additional duties may be assigned: Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and web) Assist with proposal response efforts from initial review, strategy development, production, and submittal. Support the creation of marketing content Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Assist with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events Maintain professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth. Utilize a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the profession. Relate and apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting. Develop self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, behavior patterns, and so forth that influences work. Prepare for and utilize conferences and other opportunities of learning afforded in the company. Be consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments to the supervisor and faculty coordinator. Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct. Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Enrolled in a four-year Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, Advertising, or similar degree program from a nationally accredited college or university. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and basic skills with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Express) WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
