HopeConnect Content Manager
4KIDS is looking for an experienced and energetic Content Manager to execute and manage the creation, curation of trauma-informed resources for parents. This role centers on developing high-quality, empathetic content for the Thrive parenting blog, eBooks, video series, and other educational materials. The role will also serve as the managing editor, ensuring all content aligns with trauma-informed best practices, real and lasting biblical Hope, and the 4KIDS mission to support families navigating the aftermath of childhood trauma.
HopeConnect Content Manager
4KIDS is looking for an experienced and energetic Content Manager to execute and manage the creation, curation of trauma-informed resources for parents. This role centers on developing high-quality, empathetic content for the Thrive parenting blog, eBooks, video series, and other educational materials. The role will also serve as the managing editor, ensuring all content aligns with trauma-informed best practices, real and lasting biblical Hope, and the 4KIDS mission to support families navigating the aftermath of childhood trauma.
Job Duties:
- Lover of God’s Word, daily engaging with Scripture and cultivating a flourishing prayer life.
- Creator of biblical and trauma-informed content designed to equip parents to better connect with their child affected by trauma, providing resources with practical ideas and keen insights that foster safe relationships so parents can speak the real and lasting hope of Christ into their child’s hurting heart
- Research and produce original, evidence-based content that addresses the unique needs of parents and caregivers of traumatized children along with biblical hope content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (therapists, educators, trauma specialists who serve as Clinical Reviewer) to ensure accuracy and sensitivity in all materials.
- Create engaging, accessible, and inclusive multimedia content including written articles, downloadable guides, and video scripts.
- Serve as managing editor for the Thrive blog and related content.
- Oversee the editorial calendar assigning topics, managing deadlines, and ensuring a consistent publishing schedule. Collaborating with team of 4KIDS therapists and foster parent support workers along with Strategic Partners in the HopeConnect️ Alliance.
- Edit and proofread all content for clarity, tone, and trauma-informed language, maintaining a supportive and non-triggering environment.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage freelance writers, contributors, and guest experts.
- Collaborate with team of contractors (project manager, digital designers, SEO, Editor, Email and Social Media marketing specialists, video, etc.)
- Maintain and update the HopeConnect content library, ensuring resources are current, relevant, and easily accessible.
- Monitor content performance using analytical tools, adjusting strategy based on user engagement and feedback
- Foster a supportive online community by responding to comments, moderating discussions and integrating user feedback into content planning.
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to amplify content reach and impact.
- Engaged in God's Word to equip parents connect better with their child with trauma and speak real and lasting Hope of Christ into their hurting hearts in all content
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, editorial management or digital publishing, ideally in the mental health, parenting, or nonprofit sectors
- Licensed therapist with 3+ years of clinical experience
- Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care principles and experience working with sensitive topics in the light of the Hope of God’s Word
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through on assigned projects and policies; strong leadership skills
- Strong project management abilities with experience overseeing editorial calendars and managing contributors
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an empathetic voice mindful the content is for both US and Latin America audience in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese
- Familiarity with SEO, content management systems (e.g., Monday, WordPress), and analytical tools
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills that allow success in professional, social and networking opportunities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and delivering measurable results
- Ability to work as a team player, combined with ability to work independently with limited supervision in a remote team environment
- Availability to travel to conferences at least twice per year
