Job Summary: We are looking for a GM, Marketing- Business Alliance who will own the end-to-end responsibility for Supermicro's critical marketing alliances and partner go to market activities. You will be the marketing ambassador to our largest partners (Intel, AMD, Nvidia, RedHat, ...), be responsible for achieving tangible business outcomes for partner co-marketing activities and have direct responsibility for a multimillion dollar co-marketing program. This will require fostering extensive relationships within the partner organizations at the highest levels and working closely with key internal peers including Sales, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Web Operations, Geography Marketing and others to drive value through our channel partners and alliances. The ideal candidate has executive level relationship skills and ability to develop and execute channel and alliance marketing programs. The hands-on role requires a strong understanding of the AI, cloud and server/storage hardware market and has the technical depth to develop informed channel and alliance deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Expand Alliance and Partner Engagement
Marketing activities need to be better connected to key business opportunities with the partner (Launches, Events, ...)
Support increased Partner Marketing activities: VAST, VaporIO, X, ...
More than marketing activities -> Marketing tightly aligned to business
Corp Development Skills focused on Alliances
Qualifications:
BS in engineering or technical discipline or related industry experience (Masters and MBA a plus)
15+ years' experience in marketing to enterprise B2B customers and markets
Management and leadership experience leading a team and leading initiatives across engineering, marketing, product management, sales, etc.
Superb verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Strong projects, program and organization management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work and deliver to committed deadlines
Ability to build and lead strong working relationships with the departments and business units
Salary Range $235,000 - $273,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs
