1. Ensure consistency in positioning, messaging, & planning across PM&E Commercial priorities as well as both Premium and Mid/Eco Brand Segments Map-out strategic comms priorities
:
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current communication strategies and identify the gaps. Collaborate with PM&E cross-functional teams and global brand comms leads to understand their objectives and align communication priorities. Create a strategic communication plan that outlines high-priority objectives for the year, along with key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Build key messages
:
Develop PM&E commercial and brand messaging that highlights the unique value propositions of each brand segment. Ensure key messages resonate with target audiences and are adapted for different channels and platforms. Work closely with Accor Corporate Communications to ensure messaging aligns with both PM&E Divisional and Group messaging
Develop commercial assets
:
Oversee the design and production of commercial promotional materials such as brochures, videos, and digital content. Conduct reviews on all commercial assets to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Spokesperson strategy
:
Align with Accor Corporate Communications on all executive profiling and leadership/subject matter expert speaking opportunities.
Draw-up timeline
:
Develop a comprehensive timeline for communication initiatives, ensuring all key milestones are identified and sequenced accordingly. Schedule regular check-ins to monitor progress and adapt the timeline as necessary based on feedback and market changes.
2. Commercial & Brand Point of Contact with Accor Corporate Communications Ensure full alignment of Commercial & Brand comms road map with Accor Corporate Communications
:
Participate in regular communications network meetings to share updates and align messaging with global strategies. Maintain a frequent and open line of communication with the Accor Corporate Communications team to facilitate alignment, activity mapping, information sharing and collaboration. Co-create a communication plan that balances Commercial & Brand needs with global priorities.
3. CCO Office CCO leader advocacy – source industry conferences & panels:
Research and compile a list of relevant industry conferences and events for the CCO's participation. Provide recommendations on events that align with PM&E commercial & brand strategies and offer significant visibility.
Elaborate speeches & scripts
:
Work closely with the CCO to understand key messages for various events and prepare speeches or scripts accordingly. Coordinate with Accor Corporate Communications to manage media opportunities and ensure messages are harmonized.
CCO LinkedIn
:
Assist in developing content strategies for the CCO's LinkedIn profile. Coordinate the creation and scheduling of posts that convey the CCO's insights on industry trends and brand positioning.
4. Internal Communications – Commercial & Brand Teams Townhalls, newsletters, managerial comms
:
Organize and host Commercial & Brand Townhall meetings to share strategy & performance updates. Develop and distribute a newsletter highlighting key initiatives, achievements, and news from the Commercial & Brand teams. Craft internal communications directed at managers to keep them informed and equipped to communicate with their teams.
5. Team Management Internal Communications Manager
:
Oversee the activities of the Commercial & Brand Internal Communications Manager, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in corporate/commercial communications, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry. Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful communication strategies. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent project/campaign management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both French & English; additional languages are a plus. Strong influencing and collaboration skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms. Experience in crisis communication and reputation management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Knowledge of brand positioning and management. Familiarity with public relations and media relations practices. Demonstrated ability to work with C-level executives and craft executive communications. Adaptability and flexibility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
