Reporting directly to the Program Manager in Tocoa, the Project Manager will implement project management tasks within the Country Program following established standards and procedures. This position will also directly supervise the technical team in the office. The position is based in Tocoa, Honduras, and requires travel to remote locations in respective regions to conduct inspections and training, including field visits and national and occasional international travel. As a key leader in Water Mission Honduras, the Project Manager is responsible for leading staff in developing a biblical worldview culture that leads to God-honoring excellence in all their work and reinforcing the following: providing accurate data, empowering staff to have the skills and mindset needed to acknowledge mistakes or problems as opportunities to find appropriate solutions, and empowering staff to consistently work for excellence in solutions that are consistent with Water Mission’s mission, vision, values, and standards. Job Main Responsibilities • Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public. • Understand, support, and nurture the Vision, Mission, and Core values of Water Mission. Key Responsibilities

Provide project management oversight of all projects by tracking the scope of works, project schedule, and budget using Water Mission project management software systems. Provide direction and assistance for staff, contractors, and volunteers in the field. Provide as-needed onsite project management in support of approved projects. Conduct field inspections and site assessments as needed under the direction of the Program Manager. Maintain regular contact with Department Heads, Water Mission headquarters Program Manager, and stakeholders. Oversee project procurement planning and the submission of procurement requisitions to the procurement department. Assist with proposal writing, grant applications, and grant reporting. Ensure all service contracts are properly tracked, and financial reports are updated accordingly every month. Oversee the effective coordination of all project activities between engineering, community development, and procurement. Support staff resource tracking and scheduling to ensure suitable utilization of staff time. Support the vehicle tracking and scheduling to ensure controlled mileage. Collaborate with the Program Manager, engineering and community development teams to create multi-year strategic plans and detailed annual operational project plans. Lead project closure activities by guiding the team in a comprehensive review of lessons learned and ensuring the completion of all financial and programmatic close-out tasks. Manage and develop assigned staff, establishing goals and objectives, coach and manage performance, including discipline, motivation, and annual reviews; support continuous learning and development that enhances individual performance and organizational capability. Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Alignment with Water Mission’s Statement of Faith and core values of Love, Excellence, and Integrity. Bachelor’s degree required in a field such as Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, and related fields. Additional professional qualifications are preferred, ideally in project management. 3+ years of experience in project management. Advanced English level skills. Possession of a valid driving license. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity. Commitment to ending the global water crisis. The incumbent must demonstrate legal and unrestricted authorization to work in Honduras. Skills & Abilities

Self-driven who demonstrates initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and feedback constructively. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. Ability to travel domestically to visit projects in remote locations for up to two weeks at a time.
