Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Content Manager with a successful track record scaling B2B SaaS content programs that drive pipeline. We are looking for someone who has a passion for writing, editing and developing full-funnel content strategies across multiple channels, including websites, social media, events, paid media, webinars, and more. We are looking for someone who understands measurement, experimentation, and is comfortable challenging conventional wisdom to develop stellar programs that deliver value to target personas. This means you understand how to meet potential customers and target audiences where they are in the buyer’s journey. You know how to work efficiently while juggling multiple priorities, and most importantly – you know how to bring communications to life, in a personable, relevant, action-driven way.
What Will You Be Doing On Any Given Day?
Strategy and management 30%: Accelerating the growth of Zoovu’s content programs to drive engagement through each stage of the funnel (awareness, consideration, decision, customer marketing and advocacy). Leading the strategy, planning, and execution of content programs that support Zoovu’s mission, platform narrative, integrated campaigns, new product launches, and thought leadership. Developing effective full-funnel content strategies for target personas and increasing the quality of the pipeline.
Editing, Writing, Collaboration 50%: Picking up a pen and developing long and short form content across any and all channels. Partner closely with GTM functions to align narratives and amplify the effectiveness of integrated campaigns. Partner with team and vendors to help drive organic growth via SEO and PR. Collaborate with senior executives on thought leadership programs that turn into content.
Insights 20%: Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content initiatives on awareness, engagement, and new customer acquisition. Continually adjust your strategy and approach to optimize the results.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading and scaling successful content programs, with the most recent years in the B2B SaaS space. (We’d love if you have ecommerce, retail, martech experience but we’re open to other categories as well.) The ideal candidate will be equally passionate about writing and creating campaigns and executing them. We need someone who has big ideas AND who enjoys rolling up those proverbial sleeves. Creative thinker with a proven ability to turn ideas into actionable content programs – across all content mediums – that drive brand and product awareness and engagement. Experience with SEO best practices and working with SEO partners/vendors. Experience with PR and working with PR firms and partners. Experience analyzing program results for future optimization – we like data around here. A passion for storytelling. Ability to laugh at themselves, to try new things, to know there isn’t one right way, and to bring a genuine “can-do attitude” even when things aren’t going your way.
