Overview
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Experience Design Specialist with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: Work closely with cybersecurity and technology teams to determine business needs and translate them into intuitive design solutions Facilitate workshops to align partner teams and drive a unified design vision Develop wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes, ranging from minimal concepts to highly detailed designs
Evaluate current dashboards and products, provide feedback from a designer's perspective, and work with developers to implement improvements
Develop designs that are simple, polished, and accessible for senior leadership and business users, ensuring ease of understanding Design within existing guidelines and contribute to internal frameworks, best practices, and team standards Work with teams across various geographies to maintain consistency in design practices Engage in an iterative design process with executives and stakeholders to refine designs early and ensure alignment with banking aesthetics
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, design research, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, or education Prior experience in a banking environment Strong portfolio required (must include a link in the resume) showcasing previous design work and ability to create user-friendly, executive-level visuals Ability to simplify complex products and create clear, intuitive designs for a broad audience Proactive mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, executives, and business leaders Understanding of banking aesthetics and ability to adhere to brand standards while improving usability
Pay Range: $37-47
