Marketing & Publicity Coordinator/Simon & Schuster Audio
Simon & Schuster Audio is seeking a Marketing & Publicity Coordinator to join our enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, eager to embrace the opportunity to learn and grow on the job in a fast-paced environment. This role will work with multiple teams including production, editorial, and sales. You should be exceptionally organized, and detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once is a must.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Provide support for the marketing and publicity team.
- Help execute multi-tier campaigns for in-house tie-ins and audiobook originals.
- Coordinate with audio production on behind-the-scenes studio content.
- Edit video clips for authors, accounts, and paid and organic social promotion.
- Draft All Concerneds, track media hits, create and distribute one-off audio codes for press, pull content for serials and excerpts.
- Maintain key grids and schedules for the marketing and publicity team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in title marketing, publicity, and publishing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and copywriting.
- Creativity and a passion for books and/or audiobooks.
- Team-oriented and collaborative with the complementary ability to work independently.
- Experience with Canva and video editing desired.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
