Launched in 2015, Prime Video Channels enables customers to access premium content from partners like Max, STARZ, Paramount+, AppleTV+, AMC+ and many more.
The U.S. Prime Video Channels Content Acquisition & Management team is seeking a strategic, results-driven Partner Manager with strong analytical and presentation skills. This role is key in supporting business operations and enhancing partner management processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with Senior Partner Managers and cross-functional teams (marketing, product, technology, and operations) to analyze data, generate insights, create impactful PowerPoint presentations, and streamline workflows to improve overall efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a strong ability to work with data, create compelling PowerPoint decks, and support operational improvements. This individual must have keen attention to detail, a passion for media and entertainment, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Build and expand relationships with key content providers.
- Address partner and customer feedback while supporting marketing and programming initiatives.
- Ensure robust partner participation in Prime Video Channels programs.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement strategies that drive subscriber growth on Prime Video.
- Advocate on behalf of partners with the Prime Video marketing team and coordinate all promotional activities.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews, analyzing performance and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement.
- Collect and analyze data to support strategic initiatives and forecasting efforts.
- Collaborate with partners on drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts and agreements, with a particular focus on promotional initiatives and other partnership opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, seasonal patterns, and competitive developments.
- Leverage insights to advocate for features that enhance the Prime Video customer experience.
About the Team
The U.S. Prime Video Channels Content Acquisition & Management team is responsible for the end-to-end content acquisition process - from negotiating deals to managing ongoing relationships with our content providers to help them navigate Amazon, ensure the growth of their business and the best experience for their customers. We work with premier streaming channels such as Max, Paramount+, Starz, Britbox, PBS Masterpiece, and more, ensuring Prime Video not only provides an unparalleled selection of entertainment options for customers but solidifies its position as the foremost choice for strategic partnerships.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience creating high-quality PowerPoint decks and presentations
- Experience deriving key insights from complex analyses and communicating to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience analyzing problems, devising solutions, and executing plans to drive continuous improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management
- Experience managing external partner relationships
