We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a MicroStation | CAD Designer in ANKENY, Iowa, United States. This role is primarily focused on utilizing MicroStation for CAD drafting, modeling, and visualizing bridge infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Bentley Microstation and other CAD Software for drafting and design tasks
• Engage in 2D and 3D modeling, with in-house training available for 3D aspects
• Focus on the visualization of bridge infrastructure, taking into account the specific requirements of the state
• Produce structural drawings as part of the design process
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all designs and drafts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD design techniques and technologies
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all designs meet project requirements and deadlines
• Conduct regular checks and updates on all customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records and resolve any customer inquiries promptly.• Proficiency in Bentley Microstation and MicroStation software is mandatory.
• Demonstrable experience in CAD - Computer Aided Drafting or Design is required.
• Familiarity with CAD Software is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in Bridge design and related projects are necessary.
• Ability to produce and interpret Structural Drawings is a must.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• A degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Design, is preferred.
• Proven experience as a MicroStation | CAD Designer or similar role is expected.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
