JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports is searching for a Graphics Coordinator to join the FOX Sports Creative Services team in Charlotte, NC. The FOX Sports Creative Services is a centralized resource within FOX Sports with responsibilities including on-air branding, brand development, implementation and maintenance, set design, graphic design edit support, information graphic systems, graphic software development, real-time graphics via gaming engines (Unreal engine), Viz-RT, Ventuz and proprietary systems, and graphic production management with offices in Los Angeles and Charlotte, North Carolina. The Graphic Coordinator exists as a liaison between various production arms within FOX Sports and the Creative Services department.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, research, and process all requests for graphic creation from assigned production and follow through to completion and delivery.
- Establish communication with Vice President, Production Workflow Management to ensure proper scheduling and tracking of projects.
- Deal with day-to-day operations of all production in progress through producers.
- Compile and maintain all compilation reels for assigned production along with seasonal updates.
- Attend all project related meetings, take notes and distribute ongoing follow-up with logs, style guides, and tool kits.
- Schedule and supervise edit and audio sessions as needed.
- Work with Graphics Technology group within department for all elements (including style guides) needed to complete remote and studio deliveries.
- Assist assigned designer, artist or operator in creation of requested graphic by supplying all necessary information for project to minimize repetitive work through editorial errors.
- Establish and maintain communication to appropriate technical personnel in order to ensure proper completion and delivery of graphic request.
- Maintain working knowledge of all production relating to graphics at all times.
- Assist producers in timely delivery of all sales enhancements.
- Accurately QC elements both on tape and digital formats.
- Take on additional tasks as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of all digital graphic file formats and their appropriate applications.
- Strong working knowledge of all department technologies relating to file transfer from studio to remote production units.
- Basic understanding of on-air graphic systems.
- Working knowledge of all graphic systems in department and how they relate to one another and to the equipment of requesting party.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Working knowledge of file sharing and its implications for graphic production.
- Fundamental understanding of time management techniques.
- Work non-standard hours, such as early morning or evening shifts, weekends, and requested rotational shifts when necessary to support live sports television productions.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $24.25-36.51 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $20.00-30.25 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
