Summary
Marketing Coordinator is responsible for enabling the delivery of creative projects and programs (both copy and artwork) for event-related marketing, institutional marketing, advertising, video marketing, online marketing, and email marketing.
Essential Functions
- Design various promotional materials across a variety of mediums – particularly print, design, videography and photography.
- Develop, design, and produce copy and graphic art.
- Formulate and pitch creative concepts.
- Manage RD Industries social media accounts.
- Develop ongoing marketing email campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of company brand guidelines.
- Ensure that the visual identity and functionality of all print, web, and social media is consistent and contains up-to-date information.
- Prioritize tasks and projects according to business needs and turn-around time.
- Clearly communicate creative ideas and collaborate with internal and external partners/teams.
- Demonstrate knowledge of print and production principles and best practices in the management and coordination of the creative process.
- Stay current with trends in the industry.
- Coordinate and deliver all aspects of the company’s presence for tradeshows and events.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Education/Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, and public relations preferred.
- Knowledge of typography, color, and production.
- Proficiency and experience with Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop and other comparable print software.
- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to design and present information clearly and creatively.
- Experience managing projects or working in project team environments.
