Job Description
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Near Lewiston, ME
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $38- $48per hour (based on experience)
Caseload: School-Based
We are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full school year. This role offers a supportive school environment where you'll help students enhance their communication skills and confidence. You will work with a diverse caseload, providing therapy to elementary and middle school students who require speech and language intervention. Your Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with mild to moderate communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and evaluations.
- Active Maine SLP license (required).
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred, but CFYs are welcome to apply).
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
