Wilson, Timmons & Wallerstein, a leading independent insurance provider in Richmond Virginia. Known for our personalized service and strong community ties, we specialize in delivering tailored insurance solutions for personal, commercial, life, and health coverage. We are seeking an experienced and licensed Insurance Producer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand the agency’s personal and commercial book of business through proactive prospecting, networking, and client engagement.
• Follow up with leads, unsold quotes, monoline accounts, and former clients to maximize sales opportunities.
• Provide customized insurance solutions that meet client needs and align with agency goals.
• Attend community and networking events to represent the agency and build relationships with centers of influence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of prospects, sales activities, and client interactions in the agency management system.
• Manage the full sales process, including quoting, binding, and account reviews, while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.

Requirements

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance license (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance sales or as a producer.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Experience using agency management systems (Applied Epic preferred).
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: Negotiable, with up to 50% commission potential.
