Duties
- Information and reader’s services at a busy public desk
- Collection development and maintenance of assigned areas
- Program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Person-in-charge (PIC) duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requires
- Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) ability is desired
- Knowledge of nonfiction, history, arts, medical, and international collections
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with content management systems is desirable
HIGHLAND PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY, Lake County
Hours
20 hours/week, including one evening a week and weekend rotations.
Pay
$25.00 - $30.16 per hour. The pay range is based on a consideration of neutral factors and criteria such as required qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, and seniority.
