What You Will Do:
The beating heart of our business is medical advocacy and medical recommendation. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and passionate advocacy specialist with experience in medical to develop and lead the medical advocacy strategy for LDB. The Director role will support recruitment of new HCPs onto social media, as well as nurturing those relationships and driving loyalty through excellent campaign execution B2B and B2C. The Director will drive the development of divisional and brand medical advocates at all levels from nano, micro, and macro, using the latest strategies and tactics in the A&I space such as tentpole campaign & product launch support, community building, seeding, and creator/ambassador development. They will elevate their skills through differentiating LDB's A&I presence in the challenging skincare and haircare space, where brands remain competitive through the addition of new, trending, relevant content and the creation of partnerships that uniquely impacts a myriad of customer profiles.
- Be responsible for execution of the LDB's Medical advocacy strategy in line with the brand, division, and medical priorities.
- Support the upskilling of Healthcare Professionals on social media: working in the team to develop and enhance our local curriculum, as well as maximizing opportunities with the global team.
- Develop and lead a strategic overview of LDB's medical spokesperson strategy, working closely with the CDMO team to ensure synergies across brands, topics, and functions including advocacy, marketing, and commercial as well as identifying opportunities to maximize our impact.
- Deliver innovative and social-native campaigns: specifically created with Health Care Professional's (HCPs) driving access to skin advice and LDB product recommendation where appropriate growing our share of influence online with healthcare professionals.
- Measure medical advocacy impact and regularly update to relevant stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy.
- Act with integrity to support protecting L'Oréal's reputation and relationship with regards to working with Healthcare Professionals.
- Be responsible for message coherence working closely with medical relations, marketing, medical detailing, PR, commercial, and digital to guarantee the coherence of messages across all touch points: B2B, B2C, and B2B2C.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); 8-10 years of professional experience (operational marketing, Digital marketing, eCommerce and/or with a Digital Agency, experience in the Medical or Pharmaceuticals industry).
- Experience liaising between business and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing others.
- Experience with managing vendor relationships, including but not limited to budgeting, briefing.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Strong project/team management and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience upskilling to drive business actions.
- Dynamic, creative leader and self-starter with the ability to foster collaboration across teams and build a vision for the brand/LUSA.
- Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker.
- Demonstrated strength in communication with an ability to motivate and influence across the organization cross-functionally.
- Proven change agent.
- Ability to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans.
- Ability to interact and present to all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, strong application skills of ideas to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners.
- We are looking for a change agent that can naturally connect dots across the organization to capture strong results for the brand.
- This role requires constant interaction across a matrixed business structure to coordinate work and deliver objectives.
- As a result, this individual must effectively build networks and become the in-house expert on the brand's consumer mindset to help influence, convince, and introduce new ways of marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in marketing, Communications, Beauty/Skincare Management, Business and/or relevant area.
- Relevant Industry Certifications

Salary Range [New York]: $138,500-$200,800 base salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
