We are looking for an organized and motivated Retail Marketing Manager to join our client’s team in Southern California. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping retail marketing strategies, driving store traffic, and supporting customer-specific initiatives. If youre a creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for marketing in the pet industry, we want to hear from you! Previous experience in the pet industry is required for consideration! Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic retail marketing plans that drive store traffic and boost salesCollaborate with the sales team to create impactful secondary displays across all retail environmentsStay on top of retail industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practicesWork cross-functionally to design in-store promotions, displays, and marketing campaigns that resonate with customersRepresent the company at industry trade shows and events, including customer and distributor events and buying showsHelp shape brand positioning and strategies across retail platformsGain an in-depth understanding of the pet category across various retail environments (Food, Drug, Mass, Pet Specialty, e-commerce)Support sales teams by ensuring all necessary materials are available for trade executionOffer input on packaging and new product development initiativesAnalyze retail marketing programs, measure success, and recommend improvementsManage project budgets and ensure adherence to cost estimates and contractual guidelinesStrategic Planning:Contribute to the development of the strategic and retail marketing plans for the U.S. and CanadaParticipate in joint sales and marketing planning meetingsTake an active role in weekly marketing team meetingsSupport the execution of the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the Global Corporate OfficeRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in retail marketing or sales within the pet category at a CPG companyStrong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships across teamsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like AsanaAbility to travel up to 25%Why Join Us?Be part of a fast-growing company in the exciting pet industryOpportunity to work with a passionate team that values collaboration and creativityCompetitive salary and benefits packageA chance to make a real impact on our brand and customer experienceReady to make a difference in the pet industry?
