Job Summary The Director of Loyalty Marketing is a strategic and highly collaborative role responsible for developing and executing innovative loyalty marketing strategies to drive enrollment, customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value. This role requires a strong understanding of loyalty program mechanics, customer segmentation, personalized communication, and multi-channel marketing. The Director will lead key projects and manage partner relationships to deliver exceptional loyalty program experiences that align with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities Communication Strategy & Execution: Develop and oversee the execution of multi-channel communication strategies to engage loyalty program members and drive new member acquisition. This includes creating personalized content and messaging for different customer segments across email, print, SMS, in-app notifications, social media, and paid media channels. Brand Partnership and Promotions: Cultivate and manage relationships with key brand stakeholders within L'Oréal, ensuring alignment between loyalty program initiatives and brand strategies. This includes collaborating with brand marketing teams on joint promotions, co-branded campaigns, and other initiatives to leverage brand equity and drive loyalty program growth. Creative Agency Management: Cultivate and manage the relationship with creative partners ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of loyalty program platforms and technologies. Event & Experiential Marketing: Oversee the planning and execution of loyalty program events, shows, and exclusive experiences designed to increase program enrollment, strengthen customer relationships, and brand advocacy. Advocacy & Influencer Program Development: Working closely with our internal A+I team; design and implement programs that cultivate brand advocates and leverage influencer marketing to expand the reach of the loyalty program and drive new member acquisition. Field/Sales Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with field/sales teams, providing them with the necessary tools, training, and communication materials to effectively promote the loyalty program and drive new business acquisition through loyalty program benefits. Budget Management: Develop and manage the loyalty marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI for all loyalty program initiatives. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience in loyalty marketing, CRM, or related field. Proven track record of developing and executing successful loyalty programs. Deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalized communication, and multi-channel marketing. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing partner relationships. Experience with beauty or consumer goods industries a plus.
