Description
This role is responsible for leading the marketing department and overseeing all aspects of marketing strategies, campaigns, and brand presence. This includes working closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure the effective communication of the REHAU brand and products to our customers.
Developing Marketing Strategies:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to meet business goals.
- Analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies to reflect the latest trends and customer behavior.
- Define target markets and customer segments in conjunction with product management to tailor marketing efforts.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a small team of marketing professionals.
- Leverage the use of outside resources/agencies, where appropriate.
- Establish and manage the annual marketing plan in alignment with business strategy and objectives.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring the most effective use of resources.
- Monitor spending on marketing initiatives and campaigns to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Allocate funds across different channels and initiatives based on performance metrics.
Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and consistency of the company’s brand identity in cooperation with global marketing team.
- Ensure that all marketing efforts align with the company's brand image and voice.
- Review marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and ads, to ensure brand standards are met.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns across various channels (trade, programmatic, social, etc.).
- Manage the creation and execution of PR, thought leadership opportunities, promotional events, product launches, and special initiatives.
- Measure and analyze the success of campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Content Strategy and Production:
- Guide the creation of content marketing assets (e-mail, social, blog, video, photo, graphics).
- Manage product, sales, and technical support asset creation.
- Oversee content distribution across various channels.
Digital Engagement and Presence:
- Oversee the business’s online presence, including social media, website, and email marketing campaigns.
- Develop marketing automation strategies to improve effectiveness of lead generation and personalized customer interactions.
- Develop social SEO, SEM, retargeting, and content marketing strategies to increase website traffic and engagement.
- Monitor and engage with customers on social media platforms to foster relationships and brand loyalty.
Trade Show Coordination:
- Organize / participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase products and expand customer base.
- Set creative direction of each trade show and devise all floor plans.
- Manage reliable network of vendors, partners, and sponsorships for each show.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with product teams to create messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Align with global marketing team to ensure a positive company image and that brand standards are met.
Reporting and Performance Review:
- Prepare reports and present marketing performance to senior management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Recommend improvements based on insights and performance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years in Marketing, preferably in a related industry.
- Experience with Marketing team leadership and strategy development.
- Ability to manage projects to ensure on-time and within budget execution.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation.
- Experience with website management and SEO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
