We are seeking an energetic Marketing Operations Assistant who brings creativity, and a problem solving mindset to the table. The successful candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to find innovative solutions. They take initiative, strive for excellence from the start, and are always eager to lend a helping hand.
Marketing Operations Assistant Responsibilities:
- Oversee, update, and ensure the accuracy of databases containing LPs, VCs, founders, corporate partners, and government contacts
- Help manage and optimize the company's marketing tools across different platforms
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and external communications efforts
- Contribute to the distribution of the company's monthly newsletter
- Develop, refine, and publish compelling digital content that aligns with the company's brand and messaging
- Work closely with marketing and design teams to enhance website content, improving layout and presentation
- Help organize and maintain content calendars to ensure the timely release of materials
- Leverage CRM platforms to assess audience data and adjust content strategies accordingly
- Lead or support event promotions when the Marketing Manager is unavailable
- Experience in Venture Capital and/or Private Equity is required
- Data driven and analytical leading the overhaul and transformation of CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or related
- Self-motivated, driven, highly organized, and reliable
- Highly proficient in CRM Software (i.e.: Salesforce) and experience with digital marketing tools
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all written materials
- Experience and/or knowledge of event marketing is a huge plus
- Helpful to have knowledge of Affinity, Zapier, or Replit
