Our professional community management company has an immediate opening for a Portfolio Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of community associations (homeowners associations, residential condominiums, commercial property owners associations and condominiums).
Responsibilities:
As a Portfolio Community Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between the management company and multiple community associations. Your responsibilities will include:
Communication & Client Relations
- Respond to all homeowner, board member, and vendor communications (phone, email, etc.) within 24–48 hours
- Serve as the face of the company to communities, fostering strong relationships with clients, residents, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare and deliver group presentations with confidence and professionalism
Board & Meeting Support
- Prepare board packets and attend all board meetings as scheduled (6–8 evening meetings per month, typically 2–2.5 hours each)
- Execute board decisions promptly and professionally
- Solicit proposals for jobs or service contracts as directed by the board
Property Oversight
- Conduct property and worksite inspections as needed
- Maintain familiarity with each community’s governing documents and physical condition
- Provide oversight of contractors, vendors, and projects performed on behalf of the association
Operational Management
- Manage your schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables
- Solve problems as they arise with urgency and professionalism
- Continuously plan and re-prioritize tasks based on short-term needs and long-term goals
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of interpersonal, operational, and technical strengths, including:
- Submit to background and credit check
Industry Certification
- Current and active certification: CMCA, AMS or PCAM required
Communication & Presentation
- Exceptional written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and formatting
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups after thorough preparation
Organizational & Strategic Thinking
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of work across multiple communities
- Skilled in long-term planning and short-term re-prioritization
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs daily
- Familiarity with property management software (Vantaca) and digital communication tools preferred

- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and responsive service
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across diverse communities
- Adaptable and eager to learn based on the unique needs of each association
