In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible for integrating marketing efforts with product strategy and feature releases. Your mission will be to manage and grow the product marketing team, set the overall strategy, and ensure alignment with executives and the company's business goals.As a key player in product development, market analysis, and the execution of marketing campaigns, you will bring a balance of creativity, analytical prowess, and leadership skills to the table. Craft and Implement Strategy:
Develop the product marketing strategy and build a dynamic team to drive our product features to market success.Team Building and Management:
Recruit and lead a team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), each responsible for specific product workstreams.Deep Collaboration:
Work with your team to gain a deep understanding of their respective areas and collaborate closely with corresponding product managers to ensure alignment of business objectives, marketing strategies, and product development.Content and Go-to-Market Execution:
Guide your PMMs in crafting and executing compelling content and go-to-market strategies that clearly articulate the product's value to the target audience.Positioning and Messaging:
Collaborate with product managers and marketing teams to define positioning, value propositions, and messaging tailored to various customer segments.Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and competitive positioning to optimize product offerings.Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, public relations, and customer support.Performance Measurement:
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product marketing strategies and make necessary adjustments to enhance outcomes.What We’re Looking For
Extensive Experience:
8+ years in product marketing (strategy or consulting), with 4-5 years in consumer tech leadership.Proven Success:
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, both directly and as a manager.Leadership Excellence:
Strong leadership skills with a history of building and mentoring high-performing teams.Exceptional Communication:
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical Prowess:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform insights into actionable strategies.Tech Enthusiasm:
Passionate about technology with a keen understanding of the tech landscape and market dynamics.Salary Range $217,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year salary. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City.
