Overview
NAA seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to join their growing Marketing team and oversee the end-to-end management of all marketing priorities. The ideal candidate is process and detail oriented. The selected candidate will work directly with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing to plan, manage and execute campaigns through project oversight and timeline management.
Role and Responsibilities
The Marketing Operations Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager and focus on the below tasks.
Strategy development and implementation:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of NAA's marketing engagement strategy.
Administrative support:
- Lead all marketing operations including people, processes and technology.
- Manage and execute project planning needs and ensure all functions of the marketing team are efficient.
- Oversee the organizational marketing calendar to ensure campaigns are scheduled out, updated as needed and executed on deadline.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, improve and create processes for a more efficient marketing flow.
- Maintaining all marketing-related SOPs to ensure they remain up to date.
- Monitoring request platform, Zendesk, for all marketing tickets to ensure assets are received and team is responsive in a timely manner.
Internal engagement:
- Organize and facilitate cross-NAA discussions and communications around key marketing areas, such as organizational priorities, partner collaboration, and other topics/themes.
- Liaise proactively with counterparts across all departments to ensure alignment of goals and strategies and to advance the marketing team's strategies.
- Work alongside the Digital Marketing Analytics Manager to prepare summary campaign reports to assess performance and engagement.
- Ensure all marketing documents/files are uploaded to the appropriate location for efficient retrieval and collaboration.
- Coordinate the shipment of marketing materials, displays and supplies to exhibiting industry events for NAA team members.
Teamwork:
- Work proactively with the Marketing team to ensure that marketing efforts and contributions are transparent and clear across the Business Development team as well as the entire organization.
Requirements
Position Qualifications
- 2+ years previous experience in marketing or operations. Agency experience is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to build strong relationships and mobilize colleagues to complete projects within tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in marketing/communications.
- Knowledge of process development and implementation, performance measurement, strategic planning and campaign analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, including demonstrated writing and editing skills with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and direct manner.
- Ability to manage projects under pressure, to take initiative, and work independently as well as with a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Adobe (InDesign) is a plus.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Salary Description
$55,000-57,000
