This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Travel will be required as defined by the business (domestic and/or international). The Associate Director, NPS Process and Design Improvement, is responsible for supporting the ongoing evaluation of key NPS programs and processes to ensure successful implementation through partnerships with Disease State Teams and external partners. This individual will utilize continuous improvement and lean six-sigma methodologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, to address opportunities identified across the NPS organization. About the Role
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support process improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and accelerate throughput/turnaround times, leveraging AI where applicable. Identify and eliminate waste and inefficiencies within the PSS enterprise. Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of methodologies, regulations, processes, and timelines related to the company’s products and support services. Collaborate with PSS teams and vendors to develop new products, services, and processes using lean process engineering. Support pilot implementation and synthesize findings for process enhancements. Drive organization metrics to monitor process improvement opportunities and project impacts. Work matrixed across the organization to achieve timely, high-value program and service improvements, enhancing operational efficiency. Assist in developing and implementing process enhancements related to technology and performance. Prepare management and executive reports to support leadership decision-making. Establish effective relationships with leadership and collaborate across functions to achieve results. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in process evaluation and improvement, preferably in pharmaceuticals or patient support services. Experience in change management and project management. Expertise in Six Sigma tools and methodologies (e.g., Process Mapping, FMEA). Vendor engagement and process analysis experience. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills for effective change management. Experience with specialty products and cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment. Prior healthcare consulting experience is a plus. The pay range at start of employment is expected to be between $132,300 and $245,700 annually. Final compensation will depend on various factors including location, experience, and skills. Benefits include potential bonuses, stock units, and comprehensive health and financial benefits.
