Summary Under the direction of a Senior Marketing Manager, this position will work closely with firm attorneys and other marketing team members to support all marketing and business development activities for the financial services sector. The Marketing Manager will assist in achieving the revenue growth objectives of the Firm. Location This position can sit in any of our U.S. offices. Some travel may be required. Responsibilities Executes all marketing and business development initiatives. Develops and manages marketing plan for the designated sectors. Serves as main point of contact for all marketing/business development support for the designated sectors. Responds to all RFPs/RFIs and develops all other proposal/pitch materials in conjunction with Pursuits & Proposals team members and Senior Sector Marketing Manager. Coordinates all sponsorship activities, advertisement, speaking engagements, etc. Coordinates and manages sector-specific events. Provides sales support and otherwise assists attorneys in any way needed with target opportunities. Conducts business and market research; conducts relationship searches and maintains attorney biographies. Works with PR/Media team members to promote exposure of designated sectors and individual attorneys. Assists with identifying relevant speaking and publishing opportunities. Coordinates business development training sessions as needed. Advises attorneys on business development tactics and tools (e.g., CRM system). Works with Senior Sector Marketing Manager and Sector Leader to develop and manage marketing budget; track actual expenditures. Serves as sector point of contact for internal and external communications, including media relations. Updates sales pipeline information. Supports deal/case tracking efforts as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Provides leadership to and manages a team of business professionals to include coaching, mentoring, and professional development. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis. Desired Skills Ideal candidate will be a customer service focused, personal, detail-oriented, and high energy professional with management-level experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Strong client service orientation, project management, and the ability to generate immediate credibility with firm attorneys are essential. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint. Experience with marketing in the financial services sector is preferred. Minimum Education High School or GED Preferred Education 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar field. Minimum Years of Experience 6 years' marketing/business development support experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
