The Carolina Panthers Producer, Creative Media will play a key role in producing the creative output of various multimedia projects from early concept stages through production. The candidate will execute video production needs for organic digital content, branded content, and content to support various business units of the Panthers organization. The candidate will be a key role in ensuring the creative media department executes at a high level in alignment with the Panthers brand standards.
Role, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
- Create video content that supports the production needs of various partner Content Departments, capable of adding technical prowess and creativity to a wide array of projects, including:
- Producing first in class Community and Corporate Partnerships content that contributes to the broader goals of the Panthers content strategy.
- Produce content that enhances the role of Panthers Entertainment team accounts in the broader content strategy (SirPurr Mascot, TopCats Cheerleaders, PurrCussion Drumline, Black and Blue Crew).
- Work with the Game Presentation team to develop videos according to the needs of each home game.
- Collaborate with the Documentary and Features team, the Football Talk Video Team, and the Social Video team to provide production and post-production support.
- Produce content that creates an agency model for multimedia capable of serving the diverse content needs of the organization according to the NFL calendar.
- Assist in maintaining project management structure to ensure multiple ongoing projects are completed on time and align with organizational priorities.
- Build a production model that supports the creative needs of players, providing media support that grows the Panthers brand through our players.
- Produce custom video projects supporting the business, including stadium development, ownership, and executive priorities.
- Serve as gameday video shooter and editor for all home games and select away games, gathering footage for multimedia projects.
- Collaborate with the broader “Content Creative” department to plan multimedia content around team and league events, working with Marketing, Partnerships, and other departments to align content with marketing objectives.
- Lead video development for special projects, including NFL and team initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years in a hands-on creative production role
- 1+ year working internally for a sports team, conference, or league
- Extensive experience shooting and editing sports content
- Strong video shooting and cinematography skills
- Proficient in video editing, especially in Adobe environments
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role requires working during every home game during the NFL season.
