Location: Odessa, Texas / Remote Type: Full time General Information/Job Summary The Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and expediting the delivery of Engineered / tagged equipment to ensure construction and engineering schedules can be followed. Will work closely with engineering and project construction and must also consult with outside vendors. Responsibilities/Competencies
Coordinate material movement by tracking and reporting engineering tagged equipment for multiple Saulsbury projects. Contribute to the efforts of Project Managers, Procurement team and Construction team to ensure that material is delivered on schedule according to the construction field need dates. Maintain a Material Status Report detailing phone conversations and email with suppliers and follow up as needed. Update and maintain expediting records, reports and correspondence for all projects in the appropriate project folders. Attend project meetings when required to inform project team of critical path items. Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and contacts. Attend training as required to increase knowledge, skills of other areas within the department. Participate in the resolution of claims against the vendor by Saulsbury. Requirements
High school diploma required. 5-10 years' experience directly related to expediting engineering and construction projects Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Excellent interpersonal and communications skill.
