Content Strategist - 5+ years experience Content Business Management Team This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid (3 days on-site) contract role located in Culver City, CA. Summary We are seeking a Narrative Insights Specialist to join a global content-focused team supporting business and editorial initiatives. This role will play a key part in shaping insights-driven stories that inform internal strategy and external communications across the organization. Our Ideal Candidate 57 years of experience in data journalism, editorial writing, or public relations with an emphasis on storytelling through data insights Passion for music, media, and storytelling with a strong foundation in data interpretation and editorial writing Proficient in Excel with strong analytical and written communication skills Familiar with data visualization tools and languages such as SQL, R, or Python Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, analytics, and editorial Able to work independently and manage multiple research and storytelling projects simultaneously Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs and timelines Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail Curious, critical thinker with the ability to balance detailed research with big-picture narratives Job Description In this role, you will support the development of internal and external insights-based narratives tied to music trends and cultural signals. You'll partner with teams including PR, analytics, content, international, and marketing to perform research, translate complex datasets into engaging content, and support cross-functional storytelling efforts. This includes crafting briefs, reports, or written articles that contextualize findings for a range of audiences. You will also assist in trend validation across regions and genres, supporting the teams broader narrative and communications strategies.
