Position Summary: We are looking for a forward-thinking User Experience (UX) Designer with a strong eye for modern UI & visual design, a passion for innovation, and the ability to rapidly prototype and iterate. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design intuitive, visually compelling experiences while considering how AI and emerging technologies can enhance user interactions where appropriate. While AI is an important part of our strategic direction, this role will also involve projects that focus purely on traditional UX/UI best practices. The ideal candidate is not afraid to experiment, challenges the status quo, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where design decisions are made quickly and iterated upon frequently. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Design modern, aesthetically refined, and highly usable interfaces, ensuring clarity and ease of use. Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs using Figma (preferred) or Sketch, incorporating stakeholder feedback early and often. Identify opportunities for AI-enhanced user experiences while ensuring that the integration of AI is thoughtful, seamless, and of significant value. Develop high-fidelity User Interface (UI) mockups and interactive prototypes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a strong visual hierarchy throughout. Conduct usability tests and iterate based on real-world feedback, using both traditional and AI-driven insights where applicable. Collaborate with developers and product teams to bring designs to life while balancing feasibility, scalability, and design integrity. Present and defend design decisions clearly and professionally, ensuring alignment with business and user needs. Drive innovative, problem-solving design approaches to create a superior user experience and challenge outdated norms. Remain up to date on UX and AI advancements, integrating the latest best practices where they align with user and business needs. Ensure traditional design principles remain central and recognize when and how to leverage AI to enhance UX. Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX, UI, HCI, or other related fields. Five (5) years of UX/UI experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing modern interface design and problem-solving. Proficiency in Figma (preferred) and Sketch for vector-based UI/UX design. Familiarity with Webflow (preferred) and other no-code design tools for rapid prototyping. Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS; the ability to spot front-end issues and apply logical reasoning to resolve. Proficient in creating vector-based UI/UX designs. Experience with no-code design tools for use in prototyping. Understanding of when and how AI can enhance UX, while ensuring traditional design principles remain central. Ability to challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas to the table, and iterate rapidly. Willingness to take on small, mundane tasks when necessary to build foundational knowledge before tackling larger initiatives. Strong innovative mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to defend design decisions with confidence.
