MECHANICAL DESIGNER
Mechanical Designer needed for a mid-size manufacturing company located in Wilmington, NC. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and the annual pay is $60,000+ (base pay plus overtime pay). Work hours are 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM (Monday through Friday). Successful candidates must have experience in Mechanical Design and SolidWorks 3D.
Job Description:
3D modeling and design of product from customer specifications and drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD or Inventor. Generating detailed plans for customer review and fabrication.
Required Skills:
- SolidWorks or Inventor (Required)
- Sheet metal experience (a huge plus)
- Weldment experience (a plus)
- PDM experience (a plus)
- AutoCAD (a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows XP
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
Education & Experience:
- Experience in Mechanical Design
- Associates Degree in Drafting/Design or a related Engineering field (Required)
- Strong computer skills
- Formal training in SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Experience with Sheet Metal Designs
