Transportation Design Project Manager - Nashville, TN
Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000
TTL is seeking aTransportation Design Project Manager in our Nashville, TN office. In this role, you will play a critical part by managing a team on various transportation design projects including general roadway design, CADD production, creating vertical and horizontal alignment, creating existing and proposed cross sections, processing survey data, performing quantity calculations and documenting the design process and communications. The individual must have an understanding of AASHTO, TDOT and local design criteria. Coordination with clients, consultants, government agencies, and project staff will be required.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized, creative, and responsible individual interested in working as part of a team, while developing personal technical and professional skills required for being a successful practicing engineer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 8-10 years of experience in DOT or Local Government providing design project services Previous project manager/engineer experience for transportation/infrastructure projects Tennessee P.E. or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months. Proficiency in MicroStation / Open Roads Designer / Various required design and analysis software Proficient with TDOT and AASTHO design guidance, standards, and production tools Demonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholders Facilitate new and existing client relationships Strong technical writing and effective oral/written communication skills Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work Desired qualifications:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D
