Commercial HVAC Design Estimator - Lititz, PA
Are you a highly skilled and experienced HVAC professional seeking a rewarding opportunity with a company that values teamwork, integrity, and customer satisfaction? We're partnering with a leading provider of plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning services, to find a talented Commercial HVAC Design Estimator to join their team in Lititz, PA.
In this role, you'll play a key part in estimating costs, preparing bids, and generating HVAC designs for commercial building projects. If you have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, experience with estimating software, and a passion for delivering accurate and competitive bids, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
Estimate costs for MEP systems on commercial new construction and renovation projects.
Prepare cost-effective conceptual designs on design/build projects that meet client expectations and budget constraints.
Create sketches of designs to be drafted or 3D modeled by BIM/CAD operators.
Carefully review and co-develop design documents for execution at various project stages.
Prepare written proposals and effectively communicate the proposal and scope of work to the customer.
Negotiate with clients and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Meet with project stakeholders, including owners, general contractors, and architects.
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve individual and company-wide goals.
Work with other estimators to share resources and coordinate efforts.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in plumbing trade design and estimating.
Experience in understanding project blueprints, design drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/equipment/labor/material estimates for projects and services.
Ability to visualize and execute value engineering of design.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Bluebeam or Autodesk products is a plus.
Experience with Trimble Estimation is a plus.
Experience with mechanical, plumbing, and gas specifications, calculations, and sizing.
Knowledge of general construction practices.
Knowledge of the International Mechanical Code, International Building Code, and other codes relevant to plumbing and mechanical design.
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $70,000 - $105,000 per year (based on experience).
