Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York, specializing in serving online businesses in hyper-growth mode and traditional businesses seeking to expand their direct-to-consumer/online sales channels.
Founded by a former Facebook employee, the agency leverages insights from partnering with leading eCommerce businesses in the US to accelerate success on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and other paid social channels.
We’re seeking a creative and analytical full-time Digital Media Strategist & Buyer with experience in Paid Social and Search, passionate about performance marketing, to join our NYC team.
You will handle client communications, create and manage ads using platforms like Meta and Google, and collaborate on strategic plans for clients.
The ideal candidate is both creative and performance-driven, a team player, proactive, and independent. You should understand paid digital advertising or eCommerce marketing, with strong data analysis skills.
As part of our team, you will gain experience in leveraging analytics for client growth, developing ad content ideas, and enhancing your skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage paid social media and search ad budgets, ensuring KPIs are met.
- Create and traffic ads daily via Meta and Google ad platforms, with high attention to detail.
- Conduct weekly/bi-weekly client check-ins, reporting on performance.
- Build client reports and internal analyses focused on performance and creative development.
- Collaborate with creative teams on ad content ideas based on client needs.
- Plan, execute, and analyze Meta ad campaigns from data recommendations to implementation.
- Translate technical concepts into actionable strategies.
- Understand client products and develop promotional strategies.
- Continuously optimize campaigns, set benchmarks, and suggest future tests.
- Gather market, consumer, and competitor data.
Candidate Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in media buying/advertising analysis.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred).
- Knowledge of Google Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred).
- Experience in performance marketing, media buying, or data-driven fields.
- Experience managing client accounts and maintaining strong relationships.
- Attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently or in a team, especially in startup environments.
- Knowledge of KPIs like ROAS, CAC/CPA, Conversion Rate, AOV (preferred).
- Understanding of online advertising and social media (preferred).
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables (preferred).
- Experience preparing marketing decks and navigating platforms like Google Analytics, Shopify (preferred).
- Managing monthly media budgets of $50,000+ (preferred).
