The Manager II, Omnichannel Promotions Design, leads strategy, design, and execution of weekly print and digital promotional content. This role combines traditional ad flyers with modern omnichannel marketing, overseeing concept development, creative direction, workflows, distribution, and budget management. The position ensures consistent, engaging customer experiences across all touchpoints, from print to digital platforms like eCommerce and paid media. Additionally, this role collaborates with the Manager III, Web & Media, to shape digital ad flyer strategies and transition from print-heavy to omnichannel approaches. It also involves oversight of the Specialist II, Marketing Distribution, to ensure efficient content delivery across channels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Ad Flyer Strategy & Execution
Develop and oversee strategies for print and digital ad flyers aligned with business goals. Partner with the Media Manager to integrate digital ad flyers with paid media and eCommerce initiatives. Ensure design consistency and asset optimization across channels. Lead creation and execution of digital ad flyers and assets for campaigns. Innovate distribution methods to improve efficiency and sales ROI. Manage the transition from print to digital-first flyer strategies. Team Leadership & Structure
Manage and develop a team responsible for print and digital flyer execution, including roles such as Coordinator II, Omnichannel Promotions Designer, and Lead Designer. Provide strategic guidance, feedback, and mentorship. Collaborate with internal partners (Media, Merchandising, eCommerce, Operations) to align marketing efforts. Financial & Vendor Management
Manage a $10M budget for flyer production and distribution, ensuring cost efficiency. Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee invoice processing with partners like Planet Retail. Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Lead digital transition efforts, adopting new tools and technologies. Identify and implement process improvements in design, workflows, and distribution. Optimize item/price digital assets to ensure accuracy and consistency. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years in marketing, ad flyer production, digital advertising, and print production. Experience managing print and digital flyer strategies. Strong knowledge of digital marketing and eCommerce integration. Vendor management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workfront, and Coupa. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retail or grocery marketing operations. Understanding of omnichannel marketing best practices. Familiarity with emerging digital flyer tools and automation platforms. Why Work at Giant?
