Content Marketing Specialist
Location: Troy, NY (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
Are you a creative marketer ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, innovative company? Our client, a rapidly growing tech company, is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of content creation, work on diverse marketing initiatives, and grow within a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Create and edit videos using stock footage for online and social media.
- Design co-branded marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and customization.
- Use Photoshop (and Canva for quick designs) to create high-quality visuals.
- Support email marketing campaigns (HubSpot and Mailchimp training provided).
- Optimize content for SEO and track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with business goals.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Follow creative direction and participate in content assessments.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, graphic design, or digital media (internship experience is also considered).
- Proficiency in Photoshop (required), Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Strong writing, editing, and social media content creation skills.
- Experience in video editing and creating social media content.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to shifting priorities, and thrive in a startup culture.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong creative drive.
