Your Role at impact.com:
This role revolves around driving revenue growth and expanding impact.com's presence within the performance marketing and commerce media space. By identifying, structuring, and closing new media deals, the individual will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our product strategy that meets both advertiser and publisher needs. They will need to foster deep engagement with our impact.com brands and convert them to advertisers. The role needs someone who understands media and metrics (e.g., ROAS, CAC, eCPA) and can deliver tailored solutions.

impact.com, a global leader in performance marketing is pioneering commerce media - a transformative model that connects retailers, publishers, and advertisers in new and profitable ways. Our platform makes it easy to forge partnerships and create novel placements across commerce content publishers and retailers, enabling all parties to tap into high-intent audiences, boost revenue, and scale performance efficiently.
For retailers, our direct partnership model opens up incremental revenue streams in commerce media. Advertisers are taking advantage of new partnership types and channels we are creating in content and shopping. Commerce content publishers leverage impact.com's technology to monetize their content with contextual product placements. By placing our platform and centering around partnerships, we're driving greater transparency, profitability, and customer growth across the performance marketing ecosystem.
We're looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about performance marketing and commerce media, able to engage confidently with both brands to increase our media and campaign bookings.
- Execute Sales Strategy
- Identify, prospect, and close new media deals
- Cultivate strategic, high-value deals that align with impact.com's offerings in commerce media, affiliate, and performance marketing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Creator Services, Customer Success) to identify new advertiser sales opportunities
- Advertiser Relationship Management
- Build deep relationships with advertisers
- Deliver customized solutions for advertisers, ensuring ongoing value for our clients across the impact.com network.
- Collaborate with advertisers to define success metrics (e.g., ROAS, CAC, eCPA) and work with the campaign team to track performance
- Deal Structuring & Closing
- Drive negotiations with brands, structuring contracts and pricing to ensure advertiser and publisher success
- Exhibit strong commercial acumen, confidently presenting models, campaign ideas, and campaign strategies to budget decision-makers.
- Forecasting & Reporting
- Be able to implement your own revenue forecasting and account planning.
- Collaboration & Thought Leadership
- Serve as a performance marketing and commerce media subject matter expert, both internally and externally.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors, sharing insights that shape impact.com's growth strategy.
- 5+ years of proven success in media sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally within performance marketing or ad tech
- Demonstrated ability to sell into and build relationships in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics (e.g., CPC, CAC, ROAS, LTV, CTR) and how they drive business outcomes for advertisers
- Strong familiarity with eCommerce, retail media, digital media, and consumer trends
- Track record of consistently landing deals
- Self-motivated with a passion for identifying new opportunities
- First-rate communication and presentation skills - PowerPoint, mock-ups, etc..
- Able to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions
- Collaborative mindset - values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and working across departments to achieve shared objectives.
Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, plus an additional 25% Variable Commission Plan ($25,000-$30,000) and generous stock (RSU) award.
