Position Summary:
The Photography Editor is responsible for editing high-quality, color-accurate images in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining consistency and visual excellence. This role ensures images meet brand standards, manages deadlines effectively to prioritize workflow, and keeps image assets organized and distributed on time. Additionally, the Photography Editor may assist with photography as needed to support production demands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Edit and enhance high-quality, color-accurate images to meet brand standards.
- Ensure consistency and a high standard of visual execution across all images.
- Manage deadlines and schedules to help prioritize product and workflow.
- Organize and distribute images efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance with photography as needed to support production demands.
- 2 or 4 years college degree preferably in Graphic Design
- Previous professional photo editing experience preferred
- Highly organized, careful and detail-orientated
- Good color and design sensibility
- Time management skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines
- Ability to respond well to changing priorities, workflows, and information
- Adaptable and open to learning photography.
- Proven experience in photo editing, retouching, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant editing software.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Capture One and Google Apps.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on color accuracy and image consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with photography is a plus.
