Instructional Designer Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a training design plan that meets the needs of learners
- Designing and developing engaging, informative, and visually compelling in-person and online learning experiences
- Becoming an expert in a range of Meta products and transforming technical content into engaging learning experiences
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product marketing, program design, creative development, editorial, project management and legal
- Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date and in line with products and larger training goals and initiatives
- Providing design guidance on multiple training projects, including copywriting, content hierarchy, typography, layout, and color
- Ensuring all training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with product goals and larger training initiatives
- Evaluating how your content is being received and engaged with, and taking action based on feedback
- Staying current with training and educational trends to help Meta remain innovative and effective in democratizing education
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Digital Marketing, Instructional Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in educational content development for in-person training and eLearning
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and other software used for creating training experiences
- Proficiency in leveraging authoring tools (Articulate, Evolve, Captivate) to create engaging eLearning content
- Proven track record of working effectively across different teams with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Experience managing the full content development lifecycle from needs analysis to training evaluation
- Experience working in a fast-paced content development team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital marketing, advertising teams and agencies
- Experience with Meta's advertising tools and products
- Experience developing technical training materials
- Experience facilitating training in both classroom and virtual environments

$90,000/year to $138,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
