We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software engineering, mobile and web application development, and a deep understanding of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). You will play a critical role in managing software development projects, collaborating with customers to define requirements, and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions.
In this role, you will: Utilize strong GIS knowledge to design, develop, and maintain geospatial applications and services. Develop Android and iOS mobile applications using React, with proficiency in Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Node.js, and JavaScript. Build and release applications for Windows and Linux platforms using the Electron framework. Collaborate with small development teams to manage software development activities and iterative releases. Work closely with customers to define functional requirements, concepts of operations, and UI/UX designs. Track and manage development sprints using JIRA and maintain source code repositories using GitHub and GitLab. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of applications. Provide technical support and training to diverse client bases. Stay informed about emerging technical trends to drive innovation and best practices. You may thrive in this role if you have the following skills:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Demonstrated expertise with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services. Proven ability to develop mobile applications for Android and iOS using React. Experience in developing cross-platform application releases using the Electron framework. Strong collaboration skills in managing software development activities with small teams. Proficiency in defining customer-driven functional requirements and UI/UX design. Experience managing iterative development releases and tracking sprints in JIRA. Hands-on expertise in managing source code via GitHub and GitLab. Strong knowledge of test plan development and execution. Proven ability to provide technical support and training to clients. Solid experience in software engineering, development, and supporting technical operations. You may excel in this role if you have the following skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience documenting processes and procedures. Knowledge of conceptualizing tool ideas and designing requirements. Hands-on experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms. Advanced degree in Software Engineering or a related field. BTI360 benefits for full-time teammates
