OkOliver is looking for a data-driven and creative Growth Marketer to drive real user engagement and revenue growth. We are specifically seeking someone with proven experience in paid advertising, ASO, influencer outreach, and community-building —not just theoretical knowledge.
This is a performance-based contract where success is measured by active user engagement (memory creation) and ad revenue growth, not just app downloads. The ideal candidate must understand OkOliver’s core value: it is not just a reminder app but a chatbot that enables users to quickly recall important memories.
You need to be somewhat local to the Seattle region for periodic meetings or be willing to travel. We will try to keep this mostly remote and work collaboratively via remote meetings, but you can expect to meet at least once a month in person.

- Proven track record —you have successfully grown user engagement and revenue for apps before.
- Hands-on & scrappy —you love experimenting and can execute without a big team.
- Data-driven —you analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
- Creative —you can write compelling copy, create engaging campaigns, and think outside the box.
- Experienced in digital marketing —you’ve worked with paid ads, ASO, influencer marketing, or PR before.
- Strong communicator —you’re comfortable reaching out to influencers, media outlets, and community groups.
- Understands OkOliver's core value —you recognize that OkOliver is a memory recall chatbot, not just a reminder app, and can market it effectively.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or user acquisition.
- Proven success in running Google, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and other platform ads with measurable results.
- Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO).
- Hands-on experience with influencer marketing & community engagement.
- Experience working with tech startups and mobile apps.
Performance-Based Contract Terms
This is a performance-based contract with the potential for extension based on results. There are three minimum performance goals that must be met:
- Month 1: Drive ad revenue to $100.
- Month 2: Double revenue to $200.
- Month 3: Double revenue again to $400.
- Every successive month doubles. At the end of 12 months we will minimally have $8192 and then be earning minimally $4096 monthly.
If the minimum performance goals are not met after each passing month, the contract will be terminated immediately.
Compensation
Tiered Commission-Based Model with Initial Guaranteed Minimum:
- The first 3 months (assuming the minimum levels are met) will include a minimum guaranteed payout of $500/month, ensuring stability while scaling revenue. This assumes you are meeting the minimum goals.
- Earnings will then transition to a tiered revenue-sharing structure, increasing as app monetization grows:
- 0 - $500/month revenue: 40% commission
- $501 - $2,000/month revenue: 30% commission
- $2,001 - $5,000/month revenue: 20% commission
- $5,001+ revenue: 10% commission
Potential Salary Transition: After one year of consistent performance and meeting revenue milestones, this role may transition into a salaried position with a structured compensation plan.
