As we continue to grow, we’re looking for enthusiastic canvassers to help us connect with homeowners and share the benefits of our services.
Job Overview:
As a Canvasser at Nu Look Home Design, you will be the face of the company in the community. Your primary role will be to engage homeowners, inform them about our home improvement services, and schedule appointments for our sales team up to 60 miles from Columbia, MD. This position is ideal for outgoing individuals who have excellent communication skills and are passionate about helping homeowners improve their properties.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM during daylight saving time and from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM during standard time. Working on Saturdays is highly encouraged until sales goals are consistently met.
What We Offer:
New Hire and ongoing paid training. An hourly wage based on relevant work experience ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, plus lucrative bi-weekly incentives based on your performance and monthly incentives based on the revenue of every sales appointment you secure. Successful canvassers earn $80,000.00 in their first year!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to promote our home improvement services.
- Engage homeowners in meaningful conversations, understand their needs, and educate them about our services.
- Schedule appointments for our sales representatives to conduct consultations.
- Distribute marketing materials and brochures related to our services.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and appointments scheduled.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on our products and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with homeowners.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving results.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in canvassing is a plus.
Requirements:
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation for commuting to different territories
- Physically able to stand and walk up to 1-3 miles a day
- Able to pass a criminal background screening
- Available to work Monday through Friday from 10 am - 6:30 pm during daylight savings time and 11 am - 7:30 pm during non-daylight savings time.
