Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Angel Flight NE is seeking a skilled Grant Writer to secure funding for our mission of providing free air transportation for patients in need of specialized medical care. This role focuses on securing grants for our key programs: Mission/Flight Coordination, Pilot Resource Management, and Community Outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with our mission.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners.
- Track and report on grant-related data, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate with departments to measure and communicate program impact.
- Maintain proposal templates and enhance grant-writing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field OR equivalent experience in grant writing, fundraising, or prospect research.
- 3-5 years of grant writing, fundraising, or prospect research experience.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs, and data tracking systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for expanding access and equity to medical care for adults and children in underserved communities.
Preferred:
- Existing network of funding contacts is a plus.
