Job Description - MARKETING MANAGER (T226463)
Position Summary:
Manages marketing activities associated with products and services, including market planning (prioritizing market segments and developing marketing plans for key products/services), market development (creating markets through advertising, direct marketing, telemarketing, product/service promotions, and public relations), and market measurement (determining the success or failure of plans and promotions). Monitors marketing activity, develops measurement tools to track results, and makes recommendations based on performance. Manages ongoing marketing activities related to access and information management to maintain current product and service information in consumer and physician publications.
Budget and Coordination:
Develops and monitors project and/or service line budgets, ensuring estimates and actual expenses reconcile. Assists in developing annual budgets for marketing areas. Coordinates monthly service line and/or target marketing meetings to review progress, identify new opportunities, and evaluate benchmarks. Stays informed on competitive threats, marketing trends, and regional and national marketing programs related to assigned areas.
Role Specifics:
This role resides within the Office of Marketing and Communications, reporting directly to the AVP of Marketing. It manages student recruitment marketing, primarily undergraduate recruitment, working closely with Marketing and Enrollment Management leadership to execute campaigns, coordinate projects, and ensure consistent branding across platforms. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes marketing plans
- Analyzes and reports on campaign performance
- Ensures all marketing materials meet university brand standards
- Collaborates with stakeholders, vendors, and teams to produce print, digital, video, and social media materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $55,180 - $72,000
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and five (5) years of relevant experience required. Work experience may not substitute for education.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as social media ad platforms, Google Analytics, and email marketing systems
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines
- Proficiency with productivity tools like Asana and Slack
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
