Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Director of Creative Content in the Athletics department. The candidate would be expected to coordinate all elements, including scheduling, shooting, and editing of creative content, including but not limited to: creative video and content of selected athletic events, live games, and features; produce video content for use on the department’s official digital platforms (social media, official website), and develop content for in-venue video boards. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. Required Skills or Software: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment. Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence. Required Years of Experience:
2 Required Degree, Licenses or Certifications: Bachelor's degree Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or related field. Two years of experience in video production editing. Experience shooting video in sports. Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects. Ability to work evenings and weekends, and travel with teams as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working for a college or university athletics program, league office, or professional sports team.
