Video Game Trader is expanding! We're looking for a dedicated, reliable, and knowledgeable individual to join our management team at our new Sugarloaf Mills Mall location. If you're passionate about video games, trading cards, and collectibles, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you.

As Manager or Assistant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in day-to-day operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, manage and motivate staff, maintain store appearance and inventory, and support the success of the store through hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded
• Supervise daily operations and uphold store standards
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure team does the same
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and product displays
• Handle trade-ins and buying/selling of games, systems, and TCG products
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and staff performance
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reporting
• Communicate effectively with the ownership team on store needs and goals
• Resolve conflicts that may arise from customers or employees in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of video games, gaming consoles, and/or trading card games
• Strong organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Must be available to work mall retail hours, including weekends and some holidays
